长城网·冀云客户端讯（记者 赵博轩 实习生 李石 米雯婷）7月1日至7月3日，艾奥瓦州老朋友代表团来到河北进行友好交流活动。今年是河北与艾奥瓦州缔结友好省州的40周年。老朋友代表团一行先后到石家庄和雄安新区，进学校、访乡村、乘游船、赏美景，感受河北的发展活力。几十年来，艾奥瓦州老朋友为推动两省州友好合作关系发展作出了积极贡献，带动越来越多的艾奥瓦州民众参与到双方的友好交往中，友谊的火炬在两省州人民手中代代传承。

美国蓝衫集团亚洲分公司总经理盖瑞·德沃切克说到：“雄安新区非常现代化并且具有前瞻性，这里的模式更加宜居，同时建筑的规模很大，绿地的面积很广。人们真正在考虑打造一座宜居的未来之城。”
